ANGLETON, Texas — An Angleton man is being held in the Brazoria County Jail without bond after being arrested on 18 felony counts connected to a child sex abuse investigation.
Adrian Gerard Johnson, 25, was arrested Monday following a grand jury indictment, according to information from the Lake Jackson Police Department and Brazoria County Jail records.
Lake Jackson police said the indictment followed a three-month inter-agency investigation that began after a complaint was filed with the department. During the investigation, authorities said evidence and witness statements alleged Johnson assaulted multiple female victims between 2020 and 2024.

- CT7 — Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child
- CT8 — Indecency With a Child by Exposure
- CT9 — Trafficking of Persons, Engage in Conduct/Sexual
- CT10 — Sexual Assault/Bigamy
- CT11 — Compelling Prostitution of a Person Under 18
- CT12 — Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child
- CT13 — Sexual Performance by a Child, Produce/Direct/Promote
- CT14 — Sexual Performance by a Child, Employ/Induce/Authorize
- CT15 — Trafficking of Persons, Engage in Conduct/Sexual
- CT16 — Sexual Assault of a Child
- CT17 — Sexual Performance by a Child Under 14, Produce/Direct/Promote
- CT18 — Sexual Performance by a Child Under 14, Produce/Direct/Promote
Police said no additional information is being released at this time because the investigation remains ongoing.
Destiny Church in Clute confirmed Johnson is a former employee of the church. The church said it plans to release a full statement in response.
Johnson remains in custody at the Brazoria County Jail without bond.
As with all criminal cases, the charges are allegations. Johnson is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
