Gulf Coast Times is still growing, but the support we have received so far is already making a real difference.
Recent support from community members has helped us upgrade faulty equipment, including a printer and computer used for daily publishing, printing materials, organizing coverage, and continuing the behind-the-scenes work needed to keep Gulf Coast Times moving forward.
That may sound simple, but for a local news outlet being built from the ground up, those tools matter.
Every shared article, submitted event, news tip, sponsorship, advertisement, and word of encouragement helps Gulf Coast Times continue working toward stronger local coverage for Brazoria County and the surrounding Gulf Coast area.
We are working to cover more local stories, community events, business updates, public information, and projects like GCT Young Voices, which gives local students a place to write, share their perspective, and be heard.
For anyone who wants to help Gulf Coast Times continue expanding local coverage, we also have a GoFundMe available here:

Support through advertising, sponsorships, sharing our work, submitting local events, sending news tips, or contributing to the GoFundMe all helps us keep building.
As always, financial support does not influence editorial coverage, story selection, or news decisions.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Gulf Coast Times so far. We are still early in this journey, but the support from the community is already helping us take real steps forward.
